An interesting blend of animal and vegetable fibres. The ramie, a bast fibre, adds strength to this blend; the tussah silk adds lustre, softness and colour and the merino resilience and bounce. The blend is not so soft as the pure merino/silk blends but this is a fascinating mix that needs to be handled to realise its wonderful qualities. The fibres are long, approx 120cm (5 inches).
