A beautifully soft well blended mix of fine 18.8 micron natural white merino combined with 30% fine white cultivated silk tops. Here the silk adds lustre and softness and makes the merino a little less likely to felt so that yarns handspun with this blend will retain their original quality when carefully washed. But it will make a beautiful fine felt suitable for soft light scarves. The fibres are approx 120 cm (5 inches) long.
