Rich dark brown soft, alpaca fibres and pale tussah silk tops blended to retain stripes of the two fibres. It is wonderfully soft and the fibres long; approx 120 cm (5 inches). This is one of my favourite blends for overdying - the silk shimmers and glows with colour while the alpaca colour becomes more intense and rich. Try overdyeing with blue for rich glowing silk and deep midnight alpaca.
