A light airy loose mass of bleached short flax tow and short cultivated silk fibres. The fibres are carded and textured and in a mass. They spin well and because they have a high percentage of flax make a very interesting paper. The fibres are short, 25 to 40 cm (1 to 1.5 inches) and white and dye well.
