Master the art of long-draw spinning,
a truly wonderful way
to spin short-staple fibres.

This course will take the mystery out of
the technique and enable students to card
and spin fibres ranging in length
from short silk noils to medium staple fleece.
Produce strong, knobbly silk noil yarns;
lively cotton yarns
and light, airy woollen yarns.
Exciting, well integrated colour
and fibre blends are fun and easy
to achieve with the long draw.
