A light and airy blend of white mohair and textured cultivated silk, carded rather than combed into slivers. These are not as tidy as the combed slivers and are not always continuous. Carding retains the short ends of the fibre and leaves the blend wonderfully soft, textured and airy. It spins up beautifully into a light soft yarn without the heaviness which characterises combed mohair. The fibres vary but are approx 80 cm long (3.2 inches).
