"Sue's interest is in combining different types of resist dyeing and
handpleating silk fabric with her love of natural dyes to create tactile,
sculptural fabrics. The scarves are pleated once, or twice and dyed sensitively
before and after each pleating. It is the inevitable slight irregularities created
during the process that gives these scarves their special beauty."
The gallery shows a small selection of hand-pleated, natural dyed scarves.
Prices range from £20 to £100.
All scarves are supplied with a round box for storage.
