Factory loom waste from a tie making factory. Bright coloured fine silk yarn has been woven on a synthetic warp and cut from the fabric during weaving. The woven length is approx.1.5 cm wide and the fringe approx. 3 cm wide. . The silk can be left in the weaving - and rewoven as a 'rag' fabric or wholly or partially removed from the warp in many exciting and innovative ways.
