Honey-coloured, lustrous fibres in a continuous top with a staple length of 16 - 19 cm (6 - 7.5 inches). This has the strength and durability characteristic of all the tussah fibres. The short fibres, fibrillae, on the surface of the tussah fibres make them easier to separate for use in felt and 'paper' making and not so slippery when spinning. |
