"Sue's weaving has shown a clear continuity in its simplicity of
design weave and shape, attention to detail and a preference for the functional.
She has created a distinctive style, using spun silk yarn and plain weave with
inlay and small areas of tapestry design detail in handspun silk. She works entirely
alone; designing, natural dyeing, weaving and finishing each piece."
